VESDA Certification & Training

To commission a VESDA laser system you must have the necessary certification issued by ICS or Xtralis, the manufacturers. Commissioning before you receive the appropriate training may void the warranty.

Designers and sales people also require the technical ability and knowledge to correctly design or sell VESDA detection systems.

ICS currently provide a range of certified training courses suited to any company that is interested in providing VESDA detection solutions.

Each training course will provide the neccessary accreditation required to carry out the individual aspects of a VESDA detection solution.

The training courses are split into :-

• Accreditation Course - suitable for anybody new to VESDA
• Accreditation Update - recommended for certified engineers that need to learn new technology.
• Sales / Design - suitable for companies that already have certified engineers but require additional people trained in sales and design.
• ASPIRE 2 & VSC - update for certified engineers that require accreditation in one of the above disciplines.

The standard courses are run frequently throughout the year, and the course dates are available on this site once confirmed.

In addition to the standard courses, we can usually provide specific courses at your premises dependant upon the number of people attending. Please contact us for further details on this option.
